Inside the Mixed Media box you'll find these coordinating sturdy cardstock pieces....rounded corners makes for easy trimming when you cover them with patterned papers. I'm using 4 to make ornaments.
Cover the backs with patterned papers from The Twelve Days of Christmas. Take the time to coordinate with what you'll add to the front.
I choose the smaller print for the front...since you'll see less of it when the ornament is completed. I also inked around the edges for a finished look.
Add strips of coordinating papers separated with a solid cardstock border. Trim the corners and ink.
I've trimmed images from the 8x8 paper pad and layered them over die cut frames in the same cardstock as the borders. Then added them to the ornaments.
Add a large dimensional flower created with the coordinating papers.
Add a second smaller flower nestled just under the larger one.
Adhere chipboard elements. Don't forget to sand and ink the edges for a nice finished look.
Add a length of ribbon trim to the top. this will act as a hanger if you choose to add these ornaments to your tree.
Cover the ends of the ribbon with sweet little poofy bows.
Finish off the center of the large flower with a pearly accent.
