How to make mexican ketchup

3/4 cup of regular ketchup.

I tablespoon of lemon juice. Substitute 1 tablespoon of lime juice for a more tart flavor.

I tablespoon of tequila.

1/2 teaspoon of cumin.

Half of 1 Jalapeño in sauce. Using a mortar, smash the pepper along with the liquid.

Smash or grind jalapeño and juice together in a regular mortar.

Mix all the ingredients together and gently heat until well blended.
