How to cook chicken adobo

The basic ingredients of Chicken Adobo are Chicken , Garlic, Soy Sauce, Vinegar and Bay Leaves. There are many recipes out there with different styles, so do experiment with the ingredients.

Raw uncooked poultry should never be mixed with other food, but in this case everything is going in the same marinade. I like to leave some skin on the chicken and I always cut the thighs into halves.

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients except for the vegetable oil and keep aside for about an hour.

In a pot over medium heat, add the vegetable oil and the marinated mixture. Add one cup of water and cook for about an hour or so until the chicken is fully cooked.

Serve with rice. Enjoy!
