How to save money on electricity

Make the switch to LED lighting. The LED (Light Emitting Diode) is the most energy efficient lighting technology around. Gives good light while using little energy!

There are LED Televisions, LED flashlights, and LED lamps. If you are in an apartment, buy LED floor lamps instead of using apartment fixtures (They burn a lot energy)

Also the Lifetime of LEDs are MUCH longer than conventional lighting technologies!

Most LED televisions use about half as much energy as a comparable LCD television. Check the ENERGY STAR cost on the television. It is a yearly estimate assuming you use the tv 5 hours a day.

Already you are saving anywhere from 30%-50% of the energy you use.

One way I managed to get my bill to about $30 a month was to not use lights during the day, and waiting until sunset to turn on any lights. This saved me almost 3/4 the amount I would have spent.
