How to make a homemade vegtable stock


Here's the recipe that we used

Chop up the mirepoix.

Gather other ingredients.

Cook mirepoix for 5 minutes.

Add remaining ingredients at this time.

Cover and simmer for an hour and a half.

Strain ingredients with towel to catch all of the broth in a bowl.

This is the recipe we used that includes the broth we made.

Chop up mirepoix to make start of the soup.

Purée half a can of navy beans.

Gather other ingredients.

Cook mirepoix for 5 minutes until vegetables are tender.

Add remaining ingredients and simmer soup for an hour and a half. The last 10 minutes add shell pasta to finish soup.
