How to cook fresh pumpkin

Preheat oven to 325. Cut the pumpkins in half and scoop out all the stringy stuff and the seeds. Place the pumpkins in a casserole dish skin side down, fill about half full of water.

Optional: Sprinkle with a little cinnamon, and a dap of butter. Bake for about 30 minutes. Scoop and scrape out the tender inside!
