All supplies needed for this tutorial.

Place your middle finger on the third fret of the low e string.

Next place your first finger on the second fret of the next string down known as the A string.

After those steps place your third finger/ring finger on the third fret of the high E string. Once completed strum the chord.

The next step moving away from the G major chord is the D chord. In this step first place your first finger on the second fret of the G string.

After the previous step, next place your second finger on the second fret of the high E string.

In this step we need to place our third finger on the third fret of the B string.
